BigObject Achieves ISO/IEC 27001:2022 Certification, Strengthening Information Security Governance

BigObject Inc. has achieved ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification for its information security management system (ISMS). The certification centers on the development and operation of the Aralia Agent-Ready Data Platform, marking an important step in the company’s information security governance and risk management.

Security built into how we work and build

The certification covers the design, development, cloud-based source code management, maintenance and related network management of the Aralia platform, along with the office infrastructure that supports the company’s day-to-day operations. The audit also examined the company’s internal processes and IT operations. For BigObject, information security is more than technical protection. It depends on sound governance, operational processes, risk management and continuous improvement, built into everyday work and platform development. The certification confirms that BigObject’s ISMS has been independently audited and meets the standard’s requirements.

A trusted data foundation for enterprise AI

Enterprise AI is moving beyond supporting information retrieval and analysis toward a more active role. AI agents are beginning to interact with business data and systems on their own, sometimes carrying out tasks across several systems. As that happens, organizations care not only about what AI can do, but about whether they can trust it to access and use their data. That trust starts with the infrastructure underneath the AI: how the platform is developed, how access is managed, how system changes are controlled, and how security incidents are handled. These are the areas an independent ISO/IEC 27001 audit focuses on.

Information security is an essential part of trust, but not all of it. Even on a secure platform, an AI agent can still return a wrong answer if it guesses at a business definition or produces a result no one can trace. That is why Aralia is designed to provide the business context, access controls and traceability AI agents need, so enterprise data can be understood and used within the right governance framework. These capabilities go beyond the scope of ISO/IEC 27001 certification, but for BigObject, information security and data governance are two sides of building enterprise trust.

Strengthening security, deepening trust

“Responsible technology development has to start from a foundation that is secure and accountable. As organizations begin to let AI agents work directly with their most important data, that foundation matters more than ever. ISO/IEC 27001 certification is an important step, not the finish line, and we’ll keep raising the bar as our platform and our customers’ needs evolve.”

— Dr. Wenwey Hseush, Founder and CEO, BigObject Inc.

BigObject will continue to maintain and improve its ISMS through internal audits, management reviews and annual surveillance audits, and to review emerging risks regularly as technology and customer needs evolve.

The certificate (No. GMLE2TCU20261030TWNIS10M) was issued by TNV Global Limited and can be verified at www.iafcertsearch.org.
