Aralia’s Journey at the UN Future Summit

The United Nations held the “SUMMIT OF THE FUTURE” on September 20-21 at its headquarters in New York, gathering technology, economic, and policy experts from around the globe to discuss key issues shaping the future. Chief Strategy Officer Allen Wang was honored to be invited to participate in this prestigious event and witness this historic moment.

In recent years, the rapid development of artificial intelligence (AI) and large language models has led to an explosive growth in global data demands. However, approximately 90% of the world’s data has been generated in the past two years, with 90% of it being redundant. The collection and storage of such vast amounts of data consume significant amounts of energy, placing an enormous burden on the environment.(-2024, CEO MESSAGE)

The core feature of Aralia’s product is that enterprises can securely store their data in their own isolated “data planets” without the need for downloading or additional storage. They can explore data from other planets on the platform and perform real-time cross-analysis. This addresses data ownership concerns during the collection process while simultaneously reducing resource consumption. With this innovative solution, Aralia is honored to have been invited to the Future Summit at the United Nations, where global leaders will engage in discussions on the future of technology and data.

This year’s Summit of the Future has brought together over 4,000 government officials, leaders, scholars, and business giants from around the world, with a focus on the Pact for the Future. The summit discusses critical challenges facing the younger generation, including international conflicts, climate change, and the impacts of the technological revolution.

A key topic of discussion is the Global Digital Compact, which aims to establish governance frameworks for the digital and AI sectors. During the summit, Secretary General of the Digital Cooperation Organization (DCO), Deemah AlYahya, emphasized that the rapid advancement of digital technologies is widening the digital divide between nations, making digital equality and cybersecurity pressing global issues.

As a participant, Aralia deeply resonated with the concerns global leaders expressed regarding the future of data and technology.

We recognize that as AI continues to evolve, vast amounts of data are becoming the essential foundation for future progress. Achieving data equality and technological inclusiveness requires collective effort. Participating in this summit has further strengthened our conviction that digital equality and the democratization of technology are goals we must continually pursue.

During the summit, Aralia received appreciation and support for our product from across the globe. We remain committed to eliminating technological barriers and lowering the entry threshold, empowering everyone to become a data analyst. With minimal effort, individuals can apply data tools in their daily work and life, fostering data equality and creating value in the data-driven economy.
